This workshop gives professionals who work with children & youth a space to practice responding to difficult youth behavior in an engaging and nurturing manner. Professionals will learn techniques to de-escalate crisis with youth that helps them improve decision-making and supports relationship building.

This workshop helps these professionals know exactly what to say, when to say, and how to say things to their clients that they may not want to hear, or have a hard time accepting. Professionals will leave with the ability to deliver messages with compassion, using words of empowerment and tones of encouragement.
This half-day training will provide participants with a review of child development stages from infancy to adolescence. The purpose is to enhance skills in the area of child functioning. Participants will also receive an introduction to basic childhood development disorders.
